VNS Pipeline

The platform technology is being adapted for Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) to treat a variety of neurological indications. MicroTransponder's research includes VNS for the treatment of tinnitus, stroke rehabilitation, anxiety, and other neurological conditions. The first VNS product will be the Serenity™ System* for treatment of tinnitus. It is based on a novel therapy that was able to achieve a complete reversal of tinnitus in an animal model. VNS has already been proven safe and effective in humans. For over 15 years, VNS has been used to successfully treat epilepsy in over 60,000 patients worldwide.
