About Us

MicroTransponder Inc. is a medical device development company with a strong neuroscience research focus. Our core technology is based on a previous technology developed in the DARPA Revolutionizing Prosthetics program by Dr. Larry Cauller at the University of Texas at Dallas. We have adapted this technology to create a wireless neurostimulator for the treatment of chronic pain and other neurological indications. Other products in the development pipeline include preclinical studies for the relief of tinnitus, motor and speech deficit after TBI and anxiety. We have raised more than $10M in private investment and grants, including 8 NIH grants.
